Active in musical theatre throughout teen years, be it singing/acting on-stage or playing horn in the orchestra pit
Taken under the wing of Dr Robert Xavier Rodriguez, Mexican American composer and professor of Music, who sent me on my first trip abroad, to study at the American Conservatory in Fontainebleau, under the direction of Jean-Pierre Marty.
Sang in all kinds of venues from garages, to biker bars, to country clubs, to upscale lounges, with bands of every genre, from grunge to jazz standards, changing styles to fit the environment, like a chameleon. Versatility has been a hallmark of my career.
I currently play first horn in the Blaskapelle for my Gemeinde (Großhöhenrain). I’ve made good use of the downtime during the covid lockdowns to improve my classical guitar technique, and learned to play the ukulele.
